From February 27-29, 2012, ARPA-E and DOE hosted the ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit. The Summit convened the nation's leading individuals and organizations in energy innovation to showcase cutting edge energy technologies, highlight ARPA-E's program areas and recent activity, and connect key players in the advanced energy technologies. The American Energy Innovation Council’s Bill Gates and Ursula Burns headlined the event.
